'Save Our Marine Life' Campaign
2008 – 2012
Historical support for a campaign to establish a comprehensive and representative series of marine protected areas (MPAs) in federally controlled marine locations of Australia’s southwest.
While the Campaign was very effective, the gazetting of new MPAs did not occur for a variety of reasons. We believe that the need remains – more than ever – to properly extend the MPAs around our Australian coastline.
